Fingerprint - Stairway

I've never seen this style before, it's truly unique. The sheer detail and hours that must be spent drawing each line - and I am assuming that it is done line by line - is staggering. It is difficult to tell whether the artist has overlaid / superimposed the fingerprint templates over an existing image or draws it stroke by stroke, in which case it is a magnificent achievement. The effect that I get from this particular artwork is hard to describe, but there is an unusual sense of movement, flow, and an other-worldly feel, partly offered by the chosen perspectives, but mostly supplied by the again, unique style of the artist.
