The use of yellows and reds here creates a united colour palette throughout the whole piece. I like that the same colours are used on the people, it makes them seem like they belong in this setting and they are a part of it. I especially like the strong, pure white and black lines in the trees, it makes the painting very striking.
I really like how some areas like the lower left corner use thin, wet paint and not very much detail, it gives the scene an ephemeral and almost delicate look, and makes the strong lines and colours stand out that much more.
I also like the use of perspective here, it looks almost like the kind of perspective you get with a wide-angle lens and I think that makes it interesting to look at and dynamic.
I simply love this!! I've been to Paris several times ( over long periods of time as well ) and I fell in love with the city.... and your paintings are just.... wow.. They express so much in such a beautiful and unique way.... loveee em!!!
I love anything that involves "tree canopies"...looking down a lane or path where the trees create a tunnel of sorts. So dreamy and romantic...it's an invitation to take a leisurely stroll while holding hands with the one you love.
