I've visited New York before, and it tends to be a very busy place. I think you have captured this by letting your watercolor bleed into other colors on the page. It creates an idea of things being blurry as if the common every day life of New York is moving too fast to see. Overall you have had great patience in making sure the colors didn't become washed out or murky with all the grays. You also have left enough detail that the viewer can easily recognize what the subject matter is. I would have to say when I am viewing the piece my eyes keep getting drawn to the two taxis in the center as the focal point of the piece. I'm also glad you left the pencil in the background to break up the monochromatic grays. The white dry brush painting helps to break up the foreground as well. Overall I enjoy this piece.
The Artist thought this was FAIR

i used your picture to write a ekphrastic poem, and I gave you a proper credit line, I love your work !
it looks really nice ^-^
The colors are awesome!!!
I love watercolor cities!! ;3;
great work! :]
great work! :]
Fantastic ,i can feel the energy in this painting
Beautiful. I love the implications in the contrast between the cold mono background and the lively color of the foreground figures; I wonder if that was intentional...?
Ooooo creepy but great contrast. you have a very interesting style
This is so intense!
First, your water colors are amazing. However, your pen and ink fingerprint drawings pretty much blow my mind!
This has such great energy and personality! I love your watercolors
Wow, the shapes are so exaggerated it's almost abstract! I love the way the colours class with the rest of the greys. And yeah, you nailed New York!
Beautiful urban scene! Love your watercolor style!
ah...love this piece...It's New Your City in an instant!
Seems like a nice abstraction of a busy city
I like that. It conveys a sense of the bustle and busyness of the city streets on a damp and gloomy day...^^
Excellent composition. Merging colors with gray is the key.
I love the colours! I would like to make a more elaborate comment but I havn't enough vocabulary...
That is AMAZING!!!!
Great ending.congratulation,Awesome gallery.best rgds
Wow amazing, I love all the different colors.
This is reeally freakin beautiful. an exceedingly relaxed flow to such hustling. creating a warm want for that moment. not like a feeling of social anxiety... lol
Wonderful & unique!
I live in New York and that's quite an accurate depiction Amazing watercolour
Very pretty painting!
This looks epic.
looks like your pics have been rained on.
atmosphere of the city,right?
Modernist piece ILije it. Blending the colors for lighting and keeping buildings in backdrop gray is a fine touch
Wow, very nice. The addition of the primary colors really makes a big impact on top of the dull, grey hues of the background. It's like an energy of life among the haze that surrounds it. Your work always seems to be very effective.
wow! cela est magnifique !
Am I the only one who sees Fluttershy in the right bottom corner?

Lovely and lively!
Beautiful work! The watercolors make it appear as if it is raining, unless that was your goal.
The depressing gloom of a drenched city. However the life and color is found on the cities base.
Love the quality of this one. Pure beauty, nostalgia and unfathomable power of the city that never sleeps.
