I've visited New York before, and it tends to be a very busy place. I think you have captured this by letting your watercolor bleed into other colors on the page. It creates an idea of things being blurry as if the common every day life of New York is moving too fast to see. Overall you have had great patience in making sure the colors didn't become washed out or murky with all the grays. You also have left enough detail that the viewer can easily recognize what the subject matter is. I would have to say when I am viewing the piece my eyes keep getting drawn to the two taxis in the center as the focal point of the piece. I'm also glad you left the pencil in the background to break up the monochromatic grays. The white dry brush painting helps to break up the foreground as well. Overall I enjoy this piece.
