Using watercolors is a very tricky technique that not everybody can pull off. I've tried it in the past and got nothing but devious results. The artist needs to have a complete knowledge of the colors, paper, brushes and method to achieve success.
I watched your body of work and this is the painting that I liked the most.
When I look at this I see two halves. The first half, superior, tends to feel a bit messy, irregular and unfinished which gives it this sense of fluency, almost like moving buildings. The second half, inferior, it feels very detailed and gives a lot of information, you can see men in formal clothes crossing the street and waiting on opposite sides of the road for the traffic light to change, the red stains flowing from the people's faces is something that I'd like to figure out. The trees with brown leaves and the pavement reflecting the people give me the idea of a rainy day, maybe autumn, but there's something that I can't get out of my head... where are the women?
