Vision Originality Technique ImpactOh wow. Let me start off by saying that the colors of this piece are awesome. They're warm, rustic, and blend seamlessly into each other.
Vision: The scene is stylized, but still lifelike and rustic. It also has something of an ethereal quality to it, with how the people and the objects blend into the background. It brings to mind not just a painting of a place, but also a painting of the memories that place evokes.
Technique: Gorgeously masterful use of watercolors. The warm reds and soft pinks and purples definitely evoke the feeling of a warm sunset in the evening. The stylized brush strokes are reminiscent of classic impressionist painters like Paul Gauguin.
Impact: A beautiful piece. I say I'd totally hang this painting up in my house.
